Bambi: For my birthday I want Iggle Piggle, a Dora computer, a house, my Grannies, a cake, candles, a party, a bicycle. And a swimming pool.
Me [clearly not engaging brain]: That's funny Sweetie. Last week you just wanted a pony.
Bambi: Well, okay...I'll have a pony then...
And you wonder why we're moving!

. . . and it won't be the last time, my good woman. Little Bambi, she's a sharp one. Let me tell you from experience, they only get sharper.
Alas it wasn't the first time either, Kaycie!
Oh crap I haven't even considered the pony thing! That's still to come isn't it?
Hahahaha!!
I laugh now, I will be crying on your shoulder in two years time when the spud does the same thing to me.
Did she do it on purpose though?!!
ps, am writing a post about the awards but having v busy day... was thinking that the AFAB should have a link back to your site embedded in the code... am not techie enough to do this though!
oh how fantastically funny. The best part is she is trying to be so obliging!
Hi Misssy.I think bambi may have jumped the timeline. Although, to be fair, she would probably be as pleased with a plastic replica at this stage.
Sparx - never underestimate Bambi and her plotting wee mind! And you're completely right about embedding code. And when I figure out how to do it I will. But, for now, please don't hold your breath!
Ha Mem! Obliging! What I didn't mention is that her birthday is not until NOVEMBER. I fear what she may dream up by then. A zebra? A giraffe?
I used to want a pony at that age. In fact, I still want a pony.
And Katie, in a few years time, you may wel;l find that you and Bambi still have this in common!
Do not, under any circumstances give in to the Dora computer. That voice will drive you all to distraction.
LOL too funny, got ya!
My first visit to your site... thanks to Sparx... it will not be the last! It seems my daughter and Bambi have a little one-over-Mom cunning in common!
Oh Dear Drunk Mummy. It's already got! Packed in the freight for Kenya where I doubt the Dora franchise is as rife.
Lady M - sympathy please!?
Mom de plume welcome! I don't know whether to be quite proud of her cunning or terrified at where we might be headed given that she's just over two and a half!
I also tend to fluctuate between the two options: somethimes i think Shannon is so clever with the thigs she comes out with and other times I think if she is like this at 3 I am NEVER going to keep up when she is older!
As part of BlogDay2007, I have recommended your blog in my blog: http://vinivi.typepad.fr/inside_vinivi/
