Scottish children

in their natural habitat...
The one on the left actually has a South African mother and an Irish father. But, you know what they say... If it walks, like a duck and talks like a duck....

Very cute! Glad to see a little rain didn't dampen any enthusiasm. My daughter would have a blast there. She tramps about the house regularly in her ladybird wellies!

Greetings from Tunis!! This place is beautiful, hopfully we'll have the pleasure of a visit from you sometime in the future, once we've found a house that is (not easy, long story)!! Please do tell us about your brother's shark dive, I've always dreamt of doing this, in theory at least, don't know if I'd have the stomach for the real thing... =) A&C

Sorry, didn't leave my name on that last one, but I assume you've guessed it, it's Anja! =)

Oh No Annie - It's only my enthusiasm that gets damp. Proof that this aversion to rain is a learnt behaviour.

Hey Anja! So glad you're enjoying it. Let us know when you have a spare room and we'll book some flights!

I am just catching up from missing all your posts! As always, you make me laugh! Love the pic of Bambi and friend stomping in the puddles. Weather has been sort of dry here so no puddles lately.

Will have to check out Livid's blog.. I dont mind colorful language as long as it isnt meant to hurt someone.. Middle has taken to calling Oldest a "butt-butt head". I sure wonder where she picked that up from!

Yes yes-- I agree with Anja-- how did the shark dive go???

Hi Jenny - I'll call him tomorrow and get the low down. All I know at this stage is that he survived.

Bambi has definitely adapted well to her surroundings! Does she eat deep-fried Mars bars too?

That's the spirit! I'm trying to get into the 'who cares if it rains' state of mind, for my upcoming trip to Scotland. The kiddies lead the way....

The girls look adorable decked out in their rain gear. My kids all adore walking in the rain. Of course, we're in Oklahoma and it's 93 today.

Hi Drunk Mummy. And swigs them down with Irn Bru. Not.

Yes, Laurie. They are. Having reached the point of total saturation...

I'm sure you'll have a good time Dee. Just pack a bright green rainproof jacket with froggy detail and you'll be fine!

Bambi loves playing in the rain too Kaycie. Pity her mother doesn't like taking her too often.

Evolution may soon provide the Scots with webbed feet. Watch this space.

Hi LAIKI! Nice to see you back. The rain has been fairly unrelenting. Although today was nice - so I put Bambi inot a paddle pool instead.

Indeed it may Gwen - or wellies fused to the ankles...

Heavenly - the wee ones and all that water ... tell them to have a splash for me.

Lady M, and to please me, today the sun is shining!

Hey Mem - wish I could bottle some and send it your way....

looks cold, though. Isn't it summer there???

The Good Woman said...
